Aged Care Roadmap Conference: Unpacking the Nine Destinations

The Roadmap was developed by the Aged Care Sector Committee. The Committee was tasked by the former Assistant Minister for Social Services, Senator the Hon Mitch Fifield, to develop the document to advise on future directions for aged care.

The Roadmap presents the Aged Care Sector Committee’s views on the short, medium and long-term actions required to transform the current aged care system into a sustainable, consumer-driven and market-based system. The Roadmap is “intended to generate discussion across the aged care sector and government regarding future reforms to aged care”.

The conference is designed for community aged care service providers as well as industry supporters and relevant stakeholders from other sectors.

To maintain quality standards and to protect your organisation, it is imperative to implement a sound clinical governance framework.

A report recently released by the WA Coroner has highlighted the need for clinical governance for Home Care Providers.
